Church of the Assumption's Mercy Fund helps local people in need.
MONETARY DONATIONS from parishioners to the Mercy Fund allow us to provide financial assistance to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. Even with 2 jobs, many local people’s income does not cover rent, food, and transportation to and from work. Please donate as often as you can to help us help our neighbors. To help, label your financial contribution “Mercy Fund.” Bring or mail it to the parish office, or drop it in the collection basket. And please pray for those in need. Many ask us to pray for them.
MATERIAL DONATIONS:
The only items we accept without prior agreement are household cleaning & paper supplies which can be left in the labeled bin in our foyer. Current needs include deodorant, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, bleach, toothpaste, and toilet paper.
We are collecting the specific items listed below to meet local needs. Please do NOT leave anything at the church without contacting us first. If you can donate any of the items below, please leave a message for the Mercy Fund at 388-5440 with your name, phone number, and donation description. A volunteer will return your call.
